WAUKEE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE CLASS CURRICULUM SCHEDULE FOR 2018-2019
                               Note: Classes are 2nd Tuesday night of each month from 5:30 to 8:30 PM
                      (This schedule is  subject to change if a presenter or a location has a conflict come up that we need to adjust for)

• 7:00-8:00 Non-Profit Organizations will be on hand to talk about their needs as an idea for a class project
• 8:00-8:30 Wrap up and action plans for next meeting
1. Meet and Greet
a. Get to know your classmates
b. Obtain list of names and e-mail addresses
2. Class Expectations (Terry Snyder)
a. Sign class commitment form
i. Must attend and actively participate in class
ii. Complete the extra activities required
3. Class Project Overview and Timeline
a. Class should make plans to meet prior to the October class to narrow down the Class Project choices to at least the top 3 ideas to vote on at the October 9th class.
i. Also need to decide how to communicate online with each other (e-mail, Google docs, etc…)
b. Introduction of Non-Profit Organizations – each will give a 5 min talk on their current needs
i. YMCA, Waukee Christian Services, Drews Crews, Waukee Betterment (Jim Miller),           City of Waukee
4. DiSC Profile Survey for the November class
a. Brief overview of what a DiSC Profile is
b. Will be coming to you via e-mail
c. Need to complete before the November 13th class
